New Community Federal Credit Union was founded with the specific mission of serving low- to moderate-income and minority communities beyond the reach of banks and mainstream credit unions.
Today, NCFCU has grown to serve a core group of people within the geographic region of the New Community network of Newark, Jersey City, Orange and surrounding area in New Jersey.
NCFCU provides banking services to the New Community network. Employees, businesses and vendors, funders, program participants, and residents are encouraged to join. Immediate family members of those affiliated with New Community are also eligible to use the credit union services.
